
Project Notes: De Camino a Ti
De Camino a Ti (A Journey Within) champions the transformative power of creativity and resilience, using storytelling to empower Latinx women and marginalised communities. The project, run by Community Art Project addresses the challenges faced by Latinx women, including intersectional inequality, economic instability, housing insecurity, language barriers, and limited access to childcare and creative opportunities. These barriers often lead to social isolation and underrepresentation in creative industries.
I was tasked with creating the initial branding and art direction for both online and offline marketing campaigns for the event. The creative vision needed to seamlessly blend Latin cultural elements, mythology, and the essence of feminine spirit and strength, resulting in a design that resonated deeply with the event’s themes and target audience.
