Project Notes: Prepster
Prepster is a key initiative in the UK that promotes the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as a vital tool for HIV prevention, particularly among young people and those from communities most at risk, including men who have sex with men and people of colour. The platform advocates for the availability of PrEP as a proactive measure for sexual health, providing guidance on how individuals can access it through clinics or online services. Prepster has been instrumental in creating awareness about the importance of PrEP, helping to dispel myths and reducing the stigma surrounding HIV prevention.
I collaborated with Prepster’s creator, Will Nutland, to develop a series of bold, punk-inspired campaigns aimed at promoting PrEP and sexual health across the UK. This project encompassed both online and offline assets, including posters, flyers, t-shirts, and health packs. The goal was to create a visually striking, edgy identity that resonated with younger audiences while encouraging the use of PrEP and supporting broader sexual health awareness. The campaign aimed to break down stigma and increase visibility around HIV prevention, using impactful design to drive engagement and promote safer sexual practices.
