Project Notes: AndWhat Fest – QAF
“And What” was a vibrant and trailblazing Queer Arts Festival that took place in London from 2016 to 2020. The festival was a carefully curated celebration of queer artistry, bringing together talented artists from diverse backgrounds to showcase their creativity, perspectives, and cultural contributions. Through an eclectic mix of performances, exhibitions, and events, the festival became a cornerstone of London’s queer cultural calendar, fostering inclusivity and providing a platform for underrepresented voices.
I was commissioned to develop an evolving brand identity for the festival, ensuring it remained fresh, dynamic, and reflective of its ever-changing line-up of artists and themes. My work encompassed creating visually striking designs for both digital and print media, which were instrumental in amplifying the festival’s presence. From social media campaigns to posters and event guides, the branding unified the festival’s diverse offerings while capturing its bold, celebratory spirit.
These efforts played a crucial role in driving awareness and engagement, making the “And What” festival a celebrated highlight of the capital’s cultural landscape during its run.
