Project Notes: Beds and Bars
As Lead Designer for Beds and Bars Ltd, I collaborated closely with the team to refresh and strengthen their corporate identity. Beds and Bars is a well-established pan-European hostel chain with a range of hotel and hostel variants, catering to a diverse clientele. As the company sought to evolve and expand its services, they recognised the need to update their existing branding to better align with a new target market and to support emerging business ventures.
My involvement in this exciting rebrand spanned a variety of key projects aimed at enhancing the brand’s visual impact and cohesion. This included designing wayfinding systems, packaging, and art direction to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. I also worked on brochure design, point-of-sale (POS) materials, logo redesign, and mural artwork, all of which played a crucial role in modernising the brand’s presence. Additionally, I contributed to the design of merchandising materials, creating an engaging and memorable customer experience both in-store and online.
By working across such a wide range of design disciplines, I helped Beds and Bars achieve a refreshed and unified brand identity that resonated with their evolving audience while remaining true to the core values of the company. The new visual identity not only reinforced their market position but also supported the company’s growth and future aspirations in the competitive hospitality industry.
